Bridging the Education Gap and creating New Citizens, that is the goal of this UN program established to engage students through the exploration on international issues and institutions, cultivating global literacy (including the ability to read critically and communicate effectively in writing), life skills and the attitudes necessary for active citizenship. In my opinion it is a great idea for the students to take part in creating a better world. This program it is a good experience for the students because they can be UN ambassadors for a day. Therefore they get involved in the world issues, and they learn how to become a better citizen. It seems really interesting and I would like to participate.
